It is not uncommon for a unilateral clubfoot child to require odd-sized shoes as the clubfoot will likely be somewhat smaller than the non- clubfoot. It may even be necessary for bilateral clubfoot children, especially if one of their feet were atypical or otherwise more severe than the other.
