Odd Sized Shoes
It is not uncommon for a unilateral clubfoot child to require odd-sized
shoes as the clubfoot  will likely be somewhat smaller than the non-
clubfoot.  It may even be necessary for bilateral clubfoot children,
especially if one of their feet were atypical or otherwise more severe than
the other.

Needing odd sized shoes isn't as weird or as
uncommon as one might think, but finding them
might be another matter.   Fortunately as the
world wide web grows and companies who offer
this service get on line, the hunt for odd sized
and mismatched shoes is getting easier, and
children are able to head off to school and play
    looking stylish and feeling confident.

If your child needs two shoes of different sizes, begin your search with the
links I have posted below.

SWAP - Shoes Without A Partner
Launched in 2005, SWAP Shoes is a service for Australians requiring
single shoes or shoes for different sized feet. If you are tired of buying 2
pairs of shoes to get 1 pair that fits or buying a pair when you only need
one shoe, then hopefully this project will save you some money and
frustration!
